I dig that it's very simple and loose, with a strong line along the profile; love the way you sketched out the hair. Really nice :D

For starters your composition is great; the way the light comes through the trees kinda hazy is very nice. Second, the way you've obscured the trunks of the trees and foliage sells it. I dig the texture of the snow (nice shadows) and the plants as well. Anyway, it all frames your character well and makes him pop out. Really nice work :D
